Anne Frank

Anne Frank was a average 13 year old girl. Like every human we all face adversity (difficulties) in life. Anne since she is a Jewish girl she didn't have the same abilities as the other people (Natiz). She was in hiding for 3 years. She was hiding in a attic were two people helping them. She lived in the attic with 2 more family's. It hard to live in a small spaces and have no alone time or just time for yourself. It like the same for me, I live in a decent house with my mom and sister. We only have two rooms and I share mine with my sister. I never have alone time or get to do what I want. Then Anne is always complaining that her mom doesn't understand her, Same Here! I can never agree with my mom or say who's right. She doesn't understand me I don't understand her so we leave at that. But when I was like five I never meet my "father" and I always wanted to meet him but when I did I "like" him more than my mom, so I had a phase to like Anne. It was pure adversity for me.

What I Think about the Holocaust

After reading about the Holocaust I understand why some help and some watched. Many people did nothing and watched, but if they did something they'll get killed or sent to camps. I get them, to be honest I'll probably just do nothing because if I was in the situation I'll be terrified everyday. I would not talked to no one because I'll give them my opinions and I might say something the person on the Natiz side might not like. But I give credit to the people that did stand up and do something about this. That shows me anything is possible and to be brave. I'm very lucky to not experiences this situation, I honestly couldn't imagine a life like this work till death or be killed right away. 11 million people died because of one person, that's kinda hard to imagine. While I was learning what the Natiz did to indecent people I could The believe it, it was so "unhuman". It was really hard for me to see pictures or read about this topic because I have a weak mind and stomach so every time I heard something that I felt, I felt like crying or throwing up, everything I read seemed unreal something a person wouldn't do. 

Twisted

I stared reading a new book called Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson. The only reason I wanted to read is book is because everyone stared to read it and said it was good. Many people recommend but when I wanted to check it out it was out or there were no more copies left.  But I did get one and the book is great it's about this boy name Tyler Miller who is a high school senior. Tyler use to be kind until one day he got caught doing graffiti on the school walls. Now he spents the summer working outdoors to pay what he did. He has a crush on a girl name Bethany Mibury. "His new physique attracts the attention of beautiful popular Beathany Milbury." Beathany is Tyler's fathers boss. Tyler's has a bully name Chip which is also Beathanys brother. "But if you screwed up past. No visible future. But anything can happen senior year."

The Face on the Milk Carton

The Face On the Milk Carton by Caroline B. Cooney 

This book wasn't the best book I read but if you like mystery I recommend this book.

The Face On the Milk Carton is about this girl who found her face on the milk cartoon. It started
off by Lara one day at lunch and she forgot her milk. She took her friend's milk and said "Guys my face is on the carton of milk." She know that because in the book it said " I remember that day. The dress color was itchy and I had my hair in a ponytail." Why is it a big thing that face in the carton of milk. Well if you the caption it says "Missing Girl". How is this possible you think. She asks her self the same question she asked her self if her parents kidnapped her. When she told her table friends of course they didn't believe her. "Maybe that's a excuse for you to take my milk" one of the girls said. What will happened when she told her parents? 

Seoul, South Korea

I would love to visit Seoul because it's so beautiful and unique. I would love to live there one and learn there culture. But one main reason is because I'm in love it empowers me, I like Kpop. I would one day like to meet or see them in the streets in Seoul. But I would love to try new things like there food and language. It would be nice to leave my comfort spot and see new things.

This poem remindes me so much to the main character Lara from Backlash. Lara was a depressing girl. "At these times I wish the pills did work so I wouldn't be hear right now" . She always talks about how much she wishes those pills would of work so she wouldn't feel. But one difference is this poem is just about someone that has those thoughts Lara took pills because of cyberbullying. Lara also has very hard times expressing herself. Lara when she didn't like something she will say like I wish I was dead now. Or people don't understand. 

Blacklash

(Simple Intro) 

This book is about a girl name Lara who try's to commute suiced and fails. Ever since that her life isn't the same. It started off by a Facebook message from a boy named Christan. They stared off by talking talking and then it was flirting. Lara doesn't know this guy but as a typical teenager she texts with him everyday for about 2-3 hours. But one day Christan posted on her Facebook wall "your an awful person" , " the world would be a better places without you" . This made Lara think what she did wrong why did he do that. Everything went wrong that day and she took all the pills in her bathrooms and matter went to her hands. When she failed she ended up to a rehab type places and now she cant have privacy. She needs to be guided all the time. When she woke up she found out that Christan wasn't real . WHAT! Who could have done this? Why did they do this ? Was it more than one person? Read the book to find out.

Backlash is a very interesting book. This book has four points of view . Lara (main character) Sydney (Lara's sister) Bree (Lara's ex best friend ) and Liam (Bree's brother / Sydney friend). I really like that the author decided to do a four point of view book because I like to see what the other characters think and think about the situation that are in the book. "My sister looks kind of like the flowers wilting the plastic pee bottle on the dresser." This tells me Syndey think of her as person with loss with something because of they way she described she saying she looks wilting. I think some how all this is going to effect Sydney (I know it it is going to but hard ) I feel like her parents don't put much attention to her that she might end up the same. Hopefully not.
